Mythology Land gathers twelve retold legends about characters and creatures from myth. Each story is paired with an illustrated map of its setting. The collection travels to Midgard and the land of giants associated with Thor, into the Deep Dark Forest with Baba Yaga, and along the Yangtze River for a race involving animals. These different locations frame stories drawn from multiple mythic worlds and their distinctive landscapes.
