Masterminds

Eli Frieden has spent his whole life in Serenity, New Mexico, a community presented as ideal and free of crime. After biking to the city limits, he encounters something that changes his understanding of the town. Eli recruits his friends to investigate, and their clues expose links between Serenity and notorious criminal masterminds. The children begin to question the adults around them, including their own parents, and the guards’ role in their lives.
