Maryam's Magic: The Story of Mathematician Maryam Mirzakhani

This picture-book biography introduces Maryam Mirzakhani, the first woman and the first Iranian to win the Fields Medal, mathematics' highest honor. As a girl in Tehran, Maryam was spellbound by stories; she read in the city's crowded bookstores and spent hours writing her own tales on giant rolls of paper.
