Little Man, Little Man: A Story of Childhood

Four-year-old TJ spends a summer afternoon roaming a Harlem street in the 1970s with his friends WT and Blinky. On his lively block, TJ plays, runs errands for neighbors, and encounters the activities and realities of the adults around him. The story follows TJ’s days with his friends and neighbors as he grows into his own idea of being a little man with big dreams. Color illustrations appear throughout.
