Let the Monster Out

Bones Malone is struggling in a new small town: he is one of few Black children there, his baseball team has lost, and his mother seems unlike herself. He and his brothers share disturbing dreams involving fears he would rather avoid. Kyle Specks, who suspects he may be neurodivergent, becomes Bones's unlikely partner. Together, the two work to protect their Canadian town from a local scheme to control people's minds.
