Just a Banana

This lift-the-flap picture book begins with images that look like ordinary bananas. Opening each flap changes the yellow shape into something unexpected, such as a lizard, a boat, a unicorn horn, a smile, a mouse, or a crescent moon. A narrator keeps insisting that the object is simply a banana while the illustrations invite readers to imagine other possibilities. The book contains ten lift-the-flaps.
