Jack London and the Klondike Gold Rush

This nonfiction account follows a young Jack London north to the Yukon during the 1897 Gold Rush. Drawing on primary sources, it connects his experiences in that rugged northern setting with the material that later informed many of his well-known writings. Black-and-white artwork by Wendell Minor and historical photographs accompany the account.
