If I Had a Gryphon

Sam has a hamster, but she wishes for a more exciting pet after reading about mythological creatures. She imagines caring for magical animals, including sasquatches, unicorns, hippogriffs, gryphons, and dragons. These possibilities bring problems: sasquatches make messes, unicorns are shy, hippogriffs frighten dogs, and dragons require a fire extinguisher. As Sam considers the chaos of these imaginary pets, she realizes they may not be as wonderful to care for as she first expected.
