I Am Not Your Hat!

Bert and Dot are close friends, though Bert is a large, talkative bird and Dot is small and quiet. Dot protects Bert’s secret by sitting on his head. When other birds assume Dot is Bert’s hat, Bert accepts their praise and the attention it brings. Dot eventually flies away, leaving Bert to face the secret and the loss of his friend. He must try to repair their friendship and be more honest about himself.
