This nearly wordless picture book follows a child and a lost dog. After the child has experienced losing a beloved dog, another dog is found and cared for during a downpour. The child grows attached to the animal, then notices a poster showing that the dog is missing. Returning the dog to its owner is difficult, but the child does so. The illustrations use a restrained color palette.
