Duck persuades Cat, who dislikes water, to take a riverboat tour on a sunny day. Once aboard, the cook and entertainer become sick and leave by raft, cancelling dinner and the live show. The captain gives passengers crackers, but a hungry crocodile family wants more and turns its attention to Duck and Cat. The friends ask the captain for help, then take on new jobs: Cat becomes the cook and Duck becomes the dancer for the crocodiles.
