Donutella Hamachi and the Library Avengers

Jae Han, a twelve-year-old Korean immigrant, depends on his local library as a place to work on comics, play video games while building his English skills, and spend time with other kids who feel outside the mainstream. When the mayor proposes demolishing the building for mall parking, Jae asks the librarian for help. Learning that a funding shortfall also threatens the library, he and his friends organize a fundraising effort, aided by the drag superhero from Jae’s comic.
