Dolores Huerta Stands Strong: The Woman Who Demanded Justice

Dolores Huerta is presented as the daughter of a farmer who immigrated to the United States. She committed herself to community service and political activism. With Cesar Chavez, Huerta helped found the National Farmworkers Association, an organization later known as the United Farm Workers of America. She was the second Mexican American woman to earn the Presidential Medal of Freedom award.
