Cure for the Common Universe

Jaxon meets Serena, a girl who laughs at his jokes and agrees to go out with him, on the day his father sends him to video-game rehabilitation. To be released in time for their date, Jaxon must earn one million therapy points within a week. The stay also confronts him with a larger question: who he is away from games and in everyday life. His goal of leaving the program becomes tied to a personal reckoning.
