City of Stolen Magic

Chompa lives in a small Indian village, where she helps her mother write charms but has been warned not to use powerful finger magic. Frustrated by those limits, she is forced to reconsider them when her mother is kidnapped. To save Ammi, Chompa must draw fully on her magic and join with others who have similar powers. This fantasy adventure follows her effort to rescue her mother while confronting the responsibilities of her abilities.
