Cape (The League of Secret Heroes series)

During World War II, Josie O'Malley wants to contribute while her father serves overseas. A skilled puzzle solver, she is rejected when an official learns she is a girl. Josie then joins Akiko and Mae on a covert assignment. The girls gain unusual powers, face a Nazi agent able to change shape, and look into the missing heroes who came before them. Set in Philadelphia, the novel combines prose with comic-style artwork and draws on the work of the ENIAC programmers.
