Lizzy Legend

Thirteen-year-old Lizzy loves basketball and practices constantly on a community court with her worn ball, Ginger. Her family has little money, and calls from her father’s bill collectors are part of daily life. Then a phone call sends Lizzy toward professional basketball. A wish gives her exceptional skills, but the pressure grows as events begin to unravel. The story combines fantasy, humor, realism, and a young player’s drive to play.
