Call Me Gray

Each winter, a child and their dad build an ice rink together. During the work, the child tries to explain an important feeling: although they look like a boy, they sometimes feel more like a girl. After earlier misunderstandings, their dad listens and asks to hear more. The child says their current name feels wrong and asks to be called Gray. The father’s kind response makes space for the family to take this change together.
