Bloom

An invasion of unfamiliar plants spreads across the earth, overrunning crop fields, climbing houses, and tunneling beneath streets. Their blooms release poisonous pollen, while their traplike pods consume animals and people. As the plant threat takes hold, three unusual young people on a remote island discover that they are immune to it. They must use their ability to face the invasion as the dangerous growth continues to cover the world. This is the opening volume of a trilogy.
