Best of All Worlds

Xavier Oak joins his father and pregnant stepmother, Nia, at the family’s lake cottage. One morning, the cottage and its surroundings are no longer in their familiar place: the family is enclosed by an invisible dome in an unfamiliar rural area. A nearby farm provides crops, goats, and chickens, and needed tools appear overnight. The family suspects an alien abduction after unseen visitors resuscitate Nia’s newborn son. They build a quiet life inside the dome until another family arrives three years later, bringing new relationships and conflict.
