Ben’s Revolution: Benjamin Russell and the Battle of Bunker Hill

This fictionalized account follows twelve-year-old Ben during the opening of the Revolutionary War. Ben and his friends leave their classroom to watch redcoats march from Boston toward Concord. Later that day, Boston is closed off, leaving the boys outside the city and unable to reach their families. Caught in the beginning of a war, Ben experiences the uncertainty of being separated from home as events around him rapidly change.
