Benny Ramírez and the Nearly Departed

After moving across the country, Benny Ramírez arrives at the Miami mansion once owned by his late grandfather. There he discovers that Ignacio Ramírez, his celebrated trumpet-playing abuelo, remains as a ghost. Benny is the only person who can see him. Ignacio has been prevented from entering the afterlife and is unhappy about Benny’s arrival. Before New Year’s Eve, the boy and his ghostly grandfather must search for greatness together.
