Awakening of Malcolm X

Malcolm is troubled by nightmares and passes his days without a clear sense of what lies ahead. In prison, he begins to form friendships with other incarcerated people and writes letters to his family. He reads every book in the prison library, participates in the debate team, and joins the Nation of Islam. These experiences mark a changing period in Malcolm’s life.
