After her older sister Mirae drowns in the river running through their coastal town, Soojin Han breaks a family rule and uses ancestral magic to bring her back. The sisters initially celebrate being together again, but Mirae becomes restless and hungry. Seeking revenge and the truth behind a past family wound, Mirae coincides with destructive rain and unusual deaths. Soojin must question whether the sister she restored is the one she knew.
