All By Myself (But Sometimes I Need a Little Help!)

A young child proudly describes tasks they can manage alone, including stacking blocks, connecting puzzle pieces, and putting on shoes. Other activities are more difficult: building a castle, finishing a puzzle, tying laces, or flying a kite. For each accomplishment, the child also identifies something for which help is needed. Helpful adults appear alongside the child’s activities. The story presents asking for assistance as an ordinary part of trying new things and learning what one can do.
