A Wrinkle in Time

Meg Murry is struggling at school and grieving the absence of her father, a government scientist who has been missing for some time. Late one night, three otherworldly beings arrive at the Murry house and carry Meg, her younger brother Charles Wallace, and their friend Calvin O'Keefe away with them. Traveling by tesseract, a fold that crosses space and time, the children set out to reach Mr. Murry. Their journey takes them to the planet Camazotz, where he is held captive, and where they meet a dark force that threatens far more than one family.
