A Pocket Full of Rocks

A child collects rocks and gives them many imaginative purposes: fairy chairs, sidewalk name-writing tools, or objects to hold for reassurance. As the seasons change, the pockets fill with petals, shells, and acorns instead. Each set of small treasures is kept and valued before eventually being shared or released to make room for the next season’s finds. The story follows attention, collecting, and creative play with ordinary natural objects.
