Ziggy, Stardust & Me

In 1973, sixteen-year-old Jonathan Collins is bullied, anxious, and asthmatic. He lives with an alcoholic father and turns to an imagined world where David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust, his late mother, and other dead relatives help him face difficult parts of his life. Jonathan is undergoing treatment intended to change his attraction to boys when Web, a Lakota boy, enters his life. Their meeting helps Jonathan move toward accepting who he is.
