Yuzu the Pet Vet

When Yuzu’s mother is hospitalized, eleven-year-old Yuzu goes to stay with her uncle, who runs a local animal hospital. There she discovers a place for sick, injured, and lost pets and begins making four-legged friends. The story follows Yuzu at the hospital as animal care, illness, the deaths of pets and family members, and bullying arise in her life.
