You May Already Be a Winner

Twelve-year-old Olivia Hales lives with her younger sister, Berkeley, at Sunny Pines Trailer Park. Determined to change their circumstances, Olivia develops a plan to win one million dollars and enters sweepstakes and contests. As she takes on responsibility for her five-year-old sister, she also contends with an absent father and a mother experiencing depression. The story follows Olivia’s effort to keep hope alive for herself and Berkeley.
