Worm Makes a Sandwich

Worm wants to make a sandwich, but first he needs garbage such as fruit and vegetable scraps. He and other worms eat the scraps, and their waste becomes part of compost. That compost goes into a garden, where vegetables grow for the sandwich. Told by an eager worm narrator, the story follows the path from table scraps through composting, gardening, seedlings, harvest, and food.
