Window Fishing

A boy lowers a paperclip tied to string from his window. An artist downstairs responds by drawing a colorful fish for him to pull back up. Their small exchange becomes an idea that spreads through their East Harlem neighborhood, bringing art into the windows around them. The story follows an artist who hopes to make work that gives people joy, while showing how a playful act can create connection across generations and throughout a community.
