Kudlu’s children refuse to settle down for the night until their Inuit father shares a story from long ago. His bedtime tale recalls a time when magic was part of the world. The book presents the story in both Inuktitut and English, and includes an Inuktitut glossary and pronunciation guide. Full-page drawings by an Inuit artist accompany this family storytelling scene and its account of an earlier, magical world.
