Unsettled

Thirteen-year-old Nurah, who is Muslim, moves from Pakistan to America and tries to define her identity in an unfamiliar life. She faces cultural challenges and sibling rivalry while seeking a sense of belonging. Told in free verse and accompanied by mehndi-like illustrations, the story follows Nurah’s adjustment to a new country and her effort to understand where she fits.
