Trace

Thirteen-year-old Trace Carter struggles to feel at home after moving to New York to live with his artistic Auntie Lea. He is haunted by memories of the accident that killed his parents. In the New York Public Library, a wrong turn brings him to a crying boy in old, ragged clothing. The child is the ghost of someone who died in the 1860s fire at the New York City Colored Orphan Asylum, confronting Trace with an unexplained connection to his past.
