Tonight We Rule the World

Owen, a bisexual teen on the autism spectrum, has been helped by Lily, an aspiring writer and his girlfriend, to find his voice. After he is sexually assaulted, Owen conceals the identity of the person responsible because he fears losing Lily and their close-knit friend group. The story examines identity, voice, friendship, and the ways other people can reshape someone’s story after trauma.
