Throwback

Korean American Samantha’s grandmother suddenly becomes ill, and Samantha argues with her mother. After the argument, she is transported three decades into the past. There she encounters the earlier life of her mother, Priscilla, a first-generation Korean American who had been a high-school cheerleader. Samantha’s time travel is bound up with an effort to mend strained relationships in her family.
