Tim and Tim are best friends who play and climb trees together. Their close pair changes when Tom arrives: he shares interests with each Tim, but not necessarily the same ones. The three boys must work out whether they can find something they all have in common. Their story considers the adjustments involved when a friendship of two becomes a group of three, including the difficulties and pleasures of making room for both old and new friends.
