The Ten Thousand Doors of January

In the early 1900s, January Scaller lives as the ward of wealthy Mr. Locke in a large mansion filled with unusual treasures. She feels preserved, overlooked, and out of place among the objects in its halls. When she finds a strange book, it tells of hidden doors, other worlds, love, danger, and adventure. As January reads, the book’s account becomes increasingly connected to her own life, sending her on a journey of discovery through impossible worlds.
