The Song of Us
Kate Fussner
Seventh graders Olivia and Eden meet through Poetry Club and fall in love. Olivia writes poetry, while Eden hopes to become a musician. Eden is not out and sets rules for their relationship: they should not call each other or let others know they are together. Jealousy and Olivia’s words eventually push Eden away as both girls face peer pressure and difficult issues with parents.
