The Secret Recipe

While preparing a traditional pastry with his grandmother, a boy encounters her recipe written in Ladino, also called Judeo-Spanish. He asks about the unfamiliar words and learns that Spanish Jews carried the language with them after they were forced from Spain and Portugal during the Inquisition.
