The New Brownies' Book: A Love Letter to Black Families is an illustrated anthology edited by sociologist Karida L. Brown and artist Charly Palmer, published by Chronicle Books as a 208-page hardcover on October 10, 2023. It is inspired by The Brownies' Book, the monthly magazine that W. E. B. Du Bois and the NAACP created for African American children in 1920, and expands on that publication's aim of inspiring young Black readers. The collection gathers work by more than fifty contemporary Black artists and writers, among them Ntozake Shange, Damon Young, Danny Simmons, Bertice Berry, James E. Ransome, Fabian Williams and Marryam Moma.
