The Maps of Memory: Return to Butterfly Hill

Fourteen-year-old Celeste Marconi returns to Chile from Maine and finds a country changed from the home she remembers. In Valparaíso, she seeks the truth about events during the dictatorship and searches for Lucila, her missing friend. Celeste also takes on the work of rebuilding her community while trying to find people who have not returned. This sequel follows her homecoming as memory, political history, friendship, and the search for those still missing become intertwined.
