The Lovely and the Lost

Kira Bennett’s earliest memories are of being alone in the woods, where she survived on her own for an unknown length of time. Cady Bennett and a search-and-rescue dog found her, and Kira was adopted into the Bennett family. Years later, Kira and her family search for a missing girl in a national park. The rescue brings back Kira’s memories of surviving as a child and connects the present search with her past.
