THE GOOD GAME
Arihhonni David
A young Indigenous boy is disappointed that he cannot play lacrosse with older children, so his grandfather tells a story about an early lacrosse game. In that tale, land animals play against winged animals. Mouse and Squirrel want to take part, but Bear and Deer reject them because they are small, while the birds face a different obstacle: the pair cannot fly. The winged team develops a plan.
