The Elephant Keeper: Caring for Orphaned Elephants in Zambia (CitizenKid series)

Aaron, a teenager working at a guest lodge, finds a baby elephant struggling in its swimming pool and saves her. The elephant is taken to an orphanage, where she is named Zambezi. Aaron then becomes her caretaker, following the young elephant from her rescue into the care she receives at the orphanage.
