The Egg Incident

Humphrey is an egg whose parents are intensely protective because his uncle was seriously injured in an accident. They warn him against activities they see as risky, including running, jumping, and sitting on a wall. When Humphrey meets a new friend, he must decide whether to take the chance of playing. The story revisits the Humpty Dumpty tradition from a different angle, using lively cartoon artwork to follow his cautious family and new possibility.
