Telephone of the Tree

After an accident on her street, Ayla’s best friend Kiri is gone, leaving Ayla waiting in her birch tree and wishing she could speak with her again. The two girls have always been “tree people,” each with a special tree. A mysterious telephone in a tree connects the living with people they have lost as Ayla moves from magical thinking toward acceptance.
