Takedown

Mikayla is a wrestler, having grown up in a home where her brothers wrestle. She pursues a sport dominated by boys, and, at wrestling competitions, she and a boy become unexpected friends while confronting stereotypes and prejudice. As they compete, both develop greater self-confidence and consider their moral compasses. The novel follows their friendship, their competition, and the barriers they face in the sport.
