On Saturday mornings, Joe is a gentle older brother to his little sister. In the afternoons, he and his friends turn themselves into sumo wrestlers, using improvised mawashi belts, practicing teppo drills, and competing in a homemade dohyo ring. Their game has a rule that excludes girls. When Joe’s younger sister, who practices aikido, asks to join them, he must decide whether sumo wrestling or including her matters more. Color illustrations are whimsical and exaggerated.
